# Connect and Manage Amazon Authorizations

Canonical page: https://www.kuudo.com/docs/amazon-authorizations/

Use **Authorizations** in Kuudo to connect an Amazon account to your organization. You can connect an account yourself or invite someone outside your organization to authorize their Amazon account.

An authorization lets Kuudo access the Amazon account within the permissions approved during Amazon's sign-in flow. The Authorizations page shows the connections for your current Kuudo organization.

## Before you start

- Sign in to Kuudo and select the organization that should receive the authorization.
- Decide which Amazon product you want to connect:
  - **Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API)** for a Seller Central or Vendor Central account. You will select the account type and a marketplace.
  - **Amazon Ads** for an advertising account. You will select an Amazon Ads region.
- The person completing the connection needs an Amazon login with the permissions required to approve access to the intended account.

If you want to connect both Selling Partner and Amazon Ads, create a separate authorization for each product.

## Connect your own Amazon account

1. Open **Authorizations** in Kuudo and select **Connect Amazon**.
2. Choose **Amazon Selling Partner** or **Amazon Ads**.
3. For Selling Partner, select **Seller Central** or **Vendor Central**, then choose the marketplace. For Amazon Ads, choose the region for the account.
4. Select **Login with Amazon**.
5. Sign in to the intended Amazon account, review the permissions shown by Amazon, and approve access.
6. Return to Kuudo and check the confirmation. Your authorization appears on the **Authorizations** page.

If you need an account owner, such as a brand or advertising manager, to approve access, [invite them to authorize their Amazon account](/docs/invite-amazon-account-owner/) instead of asking for their Amazon login details.

## Review, refresh, or remove an authorization

On the **Authorizations** page, select **Manage** on an authorization to see its details. Depending on the account, you can see associated marketplaces or advertising accounts, status, and connection information. An authorization needing attention may show **Review** instead.

Depending on the authorization and its status, the available actions can include:

- **Refresh from Amazon** to update the account information shown in Kuudo.
- **Reauthorize** to sign in to Amazon again and renew access.
- **Remove authorization** to stop Kuudo from using the authorization. Confirm the action when prompted. Existing metadata remains visible for audit history.

Removing an authorization in Kuudo does not change your Amazon account. To fully revoke Kuudo's access, also remove it in Seller Central or the Amazon Ads console, as applicable.

## Troubleshooting

- **The continue button is unavailable:** Select the Amazon product and all required account, marketplace, or region choices.
- **Amazon authorization did not finish:** Return to Authorizations and start again. For an invitation, see [troubleshooting invitations](/docs/invite-amazon-account-owner/#troubleshooting-invitations).
- **The wrong Amazon account was connected:** Review the authorization on the Authorizations page and remove it if necessary. Then start again with the intended Amazon account.
- **The account is already connected:** Check the organization's existing authorizations before creating another connection.
