Where does the AI live: in Seller Central, in a vendor's product, or in the AI I already use?
Ask where you will actually meet the AI. Built into Seller Central, it goes where Amazon puts it. Built into a vendor's product, it answers inside that product. Connected to your own AI client, it sits beside the rest of your work. Each is a different habit for your team.
What it reaches
What can the AI reach: my live Amazon account, or the vendor's own data?
Ask what the AI can actually see. An assistant inside a tool sees that tool's data. An MCP into a vendor's product exposes what the vendor chose to expose, under its limits. Ask whether it reaches your live Amazon account, which accounts, and which of Amazon's APIs sit behind it.
What it can do
Can the AI take actions, or does it only draft and advise?
Ask for the list of actions the AI can take, not the list of things it can discuss. Then ask what waits for a person: whether approval is a setting you control, a fixed step, or a promise, and whether there is a record of what was done and who approved it.

Does the AI write listing content, and who publishes it?
Ask what the AI writes from: a product description you type, the live catalog record, or competitor listings. Ask whether it checks the result against Amazon's rules for that field, whether it publishes to Amazon or hands you text to paste, and what you approve before anything changes.

Ask whether you can put a plain-language question about your own sales, profit, advertising or inventory, and what the answer is computed from. An assistant that answers from help articles is a search box. One that answers from your account's data is an analyst.

Ask which model or AI client is behind it, and whether that is your choice or the vendor's. Your team may already pay for and trust one assistant. Ask whether the tool works with it, or whether using the tool means adopting the vendor's AI as well.

What limits and caveats do they publish on the AI?
Ask for the limits in writing: which marketplaces and account types are eligible, which plan includes it, whether calls or usage are capped and what extra calls cost, and whether the feature is in beta. Ask what the vendor itself says about accuracy.

Can it generate listing and ad creative, images and video?
Ask what the tool generates, not what it manages. Assembling an ad from images you already have, generating a still, and producing product video are three different jobs, and the one you need decides whether creative stays a separate tool with a separate handoff.

Where does your account data end up?
Ask where your advertising data lives, whether you can land it in your own warehouse, and what the vendor may do with it. Read the terms: several let the vendor use your data in aggregate to improve their service, and most give no retention period.

Where does it run?
Ask whether it runs in the vendor's cloud or can be deployed in yours. In the vendor's cloud, your Amazon credentials, your data, and the perimeter are theirs to secure, and switching tools means starting over. In yours, the deployment is an asset you keep.

What happens before anything changes on Amazon?
Ask which writes to your account can be gated on a person's approval and which cannot. Most tools gate rules and harvesting but not the engine's own bid changes. Ask to see the approval step on a demo, not the slide about it.
Pricing model
How is it priced?
Ask for the number, then ask what it is a percentage of. Percentage-of-spend pricing rises with your budget whether or not the tool earned it, and several vendors publish no price at all. Ask what happens to your campaigns on the day you cancel.

Amazon's Seller Assistant is free to use and sits inside Seller Central, where your team already works. It answers from Seller Central resources with source links, reads your account's sales and inventory figures, and can act with your permission. Kuudo Community is free too, but it is a connection your team runs in its own cloud. If free and built in is the requirement, Amazon's assistant meets it.
Your team's day happens inside Seller Central.
Seller Assistant lives where the work is: it investigates an inactive listing, helps resolve stranded inventory and opens a support case from the same screen, and its answers cite Amazon's own help pages. Kuudo brings Amazon to the AI client your team uses, not the other way round. If the habit is Seller Central, the assistant inside it fits the habit.

Where the AI lives

Where does the AI live: in Seller Central, in a vendor's product, or in the AI I already use?

AI for an Amazon seller lives in one of three places. Amazon's Seller Assistant lives inside Seller Central, and its help page names no surface outside it. Helium Agent is built into the Helium 10 dashboard, with an MCP connector beside it. Jungle Scout, ZonGuru and Nova put the AI in your own client through an MCP, naming Claude and ChatGPT among others. Kuudo is in that third group: it connects the assistant your team already uses to Amazon and has no app of its own.

Amazon Seller Assistant: Amazon's help page calls Seller Assistant "an AI-powered assistant designed to help sellers find information, access insights, and manage their business more efficiently in Seller Central", and describes it as a conversational tool. The page names no surface outside Seller Central.¹
Helium 10: The Helium Agent page describes "an AI assistant built inside Helium 10", "built right into the Helium 10 dashboard", and a separate MCP Connector "for builders who want to wire Helium 10's data into their own AI workflows (Claude, custom agents, etc.)". It says both are included with the Diamond plan.¹⁹
Jungle Scout: The help center platform guide lists Catalyst and Cobalt as web platforms and Jungle Scout MCP as accessed "through your AI tool (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, and more)". The same guide lists Listing Builder and Listing Analyzer under Catalyst and marks listing tools "Not available" for Cobalt and MCP.³¹
ZonGuru: ZonGuru's MCP post puts the AI in the seller's own assistant: a connection string copied from Helix, its listing-engineering platform, is pasted into Claude or ChatGPT. Helix shows steps for Claude Desktop, Claude.ai, Claude Code and ChatGPT, plus a manual config for any other MCP client. The post describes no assistant inside Seller Central.⁴²
Nova: The MCP server page presents Nova MCP as a remote server the seller adds as a custom connector in Claude (desktop app, Code and claude.ai), and says the same server URL works in ChatGPT, Gemini and Cursor through that assistant's connectors settings. The page describes no assistant inside Seller Central.⁵⁵
Kuudo: In your AI client. Kuudo's MCP servers connect the assistant your team already uses to Amazon, so the work happens in that conversation. There is no Kuudo app or dashboard to log into, and nothing is installed inside Seller Central.⁶⁶

What it reaches

What can the AI reach: my live Amazon account, or the vendor's own data?

This row decides what the others can mean. Seller Assistant reads your Seller Central account and business data. The four vendor MCPs each reach the vendor's product: Helium 10's reads your Helium 10 data, Jungle Scout's reaches Cobalt's marketplace intelligence, ZonGuru's reaches Helix records, and Nova's reaches Nova's data model built from Amazon's APIs. Kuudo's MCP servers expose Amazon's own API operations for Ads, Selling Partner and Vendor Central, with no Kuudo database between the agent and Amazon.

Amazon Seller Assistant: The help page says responses come from a large language model "accessing information across Seller Central, including details of your account and business data". A footnote adds: "Your confidential account data is only used to answer your specific account questions."¹
Helium 10: An MCP to Helium 10. The help center says it connects "your Helium 10 account" to AI tools and can "read all your Helium 10 data" across Amazon, Walmart and TikTok Shop. It lists one account per connection, and says it cannot "write to Seller Central, Walmart Seller Center, or TikTok Shop directly".²⁰
Jungle Scout: An MCP to Jungle Scout: the MCP page says it connects Cobalt's Amazon marketplace intelligence to approved AI platforms. Depending on the Cobalt subscription and data access, it lists market share and category growth, brands and sellers, products and ASINs, pricing, keywords and share of voice, product attributes, brand performance, and "connected sales and advertising data, where available".³⁰
ZonGuru: An MCP to Helix at a URL personalized to the account under helix-api.zonguru.com. Its 17 read-only tools cover sales, fees, products, brand records, transformations and an inbox. Amazon data arrives through Amazon Connections, authorized once on Amazon's login page. The post says the assistant "works on engineered content inside Helix", not on live Amazon listings.⁴²
Nova: An MCP to Nova. The AI agents page says Nova MCP exposes Nova's pre-modeled Amazon schema (profit, ads, inventory, catalog) to the assistant: 500+ metrics built from SP-API and Ads API data, refreshed hourly across 23 marketplaces. Credentials are scoped to an isolated database dedicated to the account and can be revoked.⁵⁷
Kuudo: Your live Amazon accounts, through Amazon's own API operations. Your AI works inside your Ads account through the Amazon Ads MCP, inside Seller Central through the Amazon Selling Partner MCP, and inside Vendor Central through the Amazon Vendor Central MCP. No Kuudo database sits between the agent and Amazon.⁶⁶

What it can do

Can the AI take actions, or does it only draft and advise?

Ask for the list of actions, then read what waits for a person. Amazon says Seller Assistant acts with your permission, on listings, stranded inventory and support cases, and its page does not say which actions run on their own. Helium 10's MCP changes ads after you approve each batch by default, and its help article warns that changed approval settings in Claude or ChatGPT may skip the prompt. ZonGuru's writes change Helix records in two steps, not live listings. Nova's tool reference says campaigns, budgets, prices and listings stay as set. Jungle Scout's page names no change to an Amazon account. Kuudo's write tools are guarded by your policy, and each call is recorded with its approval state.

Amazon Seller Assistant: The help page says "With your permission, Seller Assistant can also take actions on your behalf". It lists investigating inactive or blocked listings, helping resolve stranded inventory, analyzing storage fees, assessing Featured Offer eligibility, identifying compliance violations, and creating and submitting support cases, with actions taken "when you authorize it to do so".¹
Helium 10: Through the MCP, a connected AI client can change budgets, bids, campaign states, keywords, targets, negatives and portfolios and create campaigns on Amazon and Walmart ads, not delete. The help article says "Every single change requires your explicit approval", in batches of up to 20 actions, and warns that changed approval settings in Claude or ChatGPT may skip the prompt.²¹
Jungle Scout: The MCP page says "most teams use the MCP to pull data and surface insights" and that, connected to an agentic tool like Claude Cowork, it can "execute the next step": drafting a brief, updating a tracker, flagging an anomaly. The page names no change to an Amazon account and no approval step.³⁰
ZonGuru: The post lists 25 write tools that "operate on your Helix records - brands, products, transformations" through two-step flows: Evaluate product edit shows the suggestion and Confirm product edit commits it. Claude's permission screen lets the seller allow or hold back each tool. "Nothing publishes to your live Amazon listings without you."⁴²
Nova: The tool reference lists seven import tools that write cost of goods, FBM shipping rates, VAT categories, stock parameters, supplier orders, external stock and product tags to the seller's Nova inputs, not to Seller Central. Each one "previews the change first and writes only once you confirm". It says campaigns, budgets, prices and listings stay as set.⁵⁶
Kuudo: It can act. Every tool is tagged read or write. Read tools return data only. Write tools validate input, apply your workspace policy, and may require explicit human approval before a change reaches Amazon. Every call records the user, agent, parameters, result and approval state in a run log.⁶⁶

Listing content

Does the AI write listing content, and who publishes it?

Each column writes listing text of some kind, and the question is who publishes it. Amazon's generative tools draft titles, bullets and descriptions that you review, edit and approve before submitting. Helium 10's Listing Builder skill publishes to Amazon or exports. Jungle Scout's AI Assist writes copy a person accepts or discards, ZonGuru's Helix output is copied or exported as a CSV, and Nova's free title rewriter returns text. Kuudo's Listing Optimizer reads the live catalog record, rewrites against Amazon's limits, previews the change, and writes it on your approval.

Amazon Seller Assistant: Amazon's Nov 3, 2025 blog says generative AI in Add Products creates titles, bullet points and descriptions from a few words, up to three images, a web URL or a spreadsheet, and A+ Content Manager generates text and images. Sellers "review, edit, and approve the listing" before submitting it.³
Helium 10: The help center's Listing Builder Skill in Helium Agent takes up to 5 product images, keyword sources and competitor ASINs, and generates a title, bullets and description that the seller can edit, then "Publish directly to Amazon or export for later". For an existing listing it rewrites one field and publishes it back, which requires a seller SKU.²²
Jungle Scout: The help center says AI Assist in Listing Builder takes the top keywords from the keyword bank and "leverages Open AI's model" to generate the product title, five features and description. The user reviews each result and chooses Discard or Replace, then can edit the text. The article does not mention images, A+ Content or publishing.³³
ZonGuru: A Helix transformation produces an engineered title, bullets and description from a guided submission of the ASIN, brand guidelines, positioning and differentiators, plus niche research. A guided validation has the seller review brand and product details before it is finalized. Output is copied from the Helix app or exported as a formatted CSV for Seller Central.⁴³
Nova: The free title optimizer page says the seller pastes an ASIN, Nova fetches the live title, brand, category and attributes from Amazon, and "Nova's Amazon-tuned AI model" plus a 7-rule validator returns a title of 75 characters or fewer, a compliance checklist and a kept-versus-dropped list. The page describes no publishing to Amazon.⁵⁸
Kuudo: Yes. Amazon Listing Optimizer reads the live catalog and your submitted listing, finds suppressions, contradictions and thin copy, rewrites titles, bullets and search terms against Amazon's limits, and writes approved changes to the live listing. Every change is previewed first and waits for your approval.⁶⁵

Questions about your data

Can I ask the AI questions about my own account's data?

Four of the five answer plain-language questions from account data: Seller Assistant from Amazon's own figures, Helium Agent from live Helium 10 data, ZonGuru from sales, traffic and fee history in Helix, and Nova from your Nova account with 24 months of history. Jungle Scout's chat is in early beta and describes its answers as coming from YouTube transcripts, its blog and its help center. Kuudo runs a governed query on your own delivered Amazon data and returns a table with its lineage.

Amazon Seller Assistant: The help page lists questions such as "What were my sales in the last quarter?" and "What is my current inventory health?". It says sellers can retrieve sales data and page views, and the assistant summarizes recent sales and units sold compared with the previous year, using Amazon data.¹
Helium 10: The Helium Agent page says it answers questions "using your live account data" across ads, keywords, P&L, listings and inventory "in a single conversational interface". It lists what it reads: Helium 10 Ads campaign performance, Keyword Tracker ranking history, Profits net margin per ASIN, Inventory Management levels and Listing Analyzer health scores.¹⁹
Jungle Scout: The AI Assist Chat article says Starter and Growth Accelerator customers can ask "Knowledge and Support Questions" and all other customers can also ask "tailored questions related to your Business". It says responses come from searching YouTube transcripts, the blog and the help center, without source links, and that the chat "is in early beta and may produce inaccurate results".³²
ZonGuru: Through the Helix connection the seller asks in plain language, for example which listings have high sessions but weak conversions. Answers draw on sales, traffic and fee history imported through Amazon Connections, plus Helix brand and product records. The post sends ads questions to Amazon's own Ads MCP Server and names no inventory or profit tool.⁴²
Nova: The tool reference says "You ask a question in plain language and the assistant picks the tool". Its query tools answer from the seller's own Nova account on profit and movers, advertising, search terms, Search Query Performance, BSR, inventory and listing health, with 24 months of history queryable and a 30-minute refresh on money metrics.⁵⁶
Kuudo: Yes. You ask in plain language, for example which SKUs drove the most revenue in the last 30 days. The assistant runs a governed query on your delivered Amazon data, analyzes the result in a sandbox, and returns a bounded table with its lineage. Read-only SQL is also available.⁶³

Models and clients

Which AI does it use, and can I choose?

Amazon names the models behind its assistant, Amazon Nova and Anthropic Claude on Amazon Bedrock, and describes no way for a seller to choose. ZonGuru names ChatGPT-4 for its Listing Optimizer, and Jungle Scout's listing AI names Open AI's model. For their MCPs, Helium 10, Jungle Scout and Nova let you bring your own client, and Nova says to bring your own Claude account. Kuudo connects whichever MCP client you choose, so the model is yours to pick and to change.

Amazon Seller Assistant: Amazon's March 3, 2026 article says the canvas experience is "built on the same agentic AI architecture as Seller Assistant, powered by Amazon Bedrock and leveraging Amazon Nova and Anthropic Claude". The article describes no way for a seller to choose the model.⁴
Helium 10: For the MCP, the help center says "Any MCP-compatible client works. Currently tested and supported: Claude (Web & Desktop), ChatGPT, and Codex." The seller picks the client, and the article advises "Use Sonnet or Opus; avoid Haiku or Instant". The article does not name a model behind Helium 10's own AI features.²⁰
Jungle Scout: The MCP page says Jungle Scout MCP is designed to work with AI platforms that support MCP connections, "including tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, and approved custom or internal AI environments", and that availability and functionality may vary by platform and organizational configuration. It also names Claude Cowork as an agentic tool.³⁰
ZonGuru: The Listing Optimizer page says the tool is "Backed by ChatGPT-4" and uses it to find keywords and auto-generate or rewrite product listings, with seller instructions on tone, brand personality, format and language. The page describes no option to pick a different model, and it does not mention Helix or an MCP connection.⁴⁴
Nova: The AI agents page says any assistant that speaks the Model Context Protocol can connect and names Claude (Claude Desktop, Claude Code), ChatGPT, Gemini and Cursor. It says "Bring your own Claude account" and that Nova provides the data layer and the MCP connection. The page names no AI model run by Nova itself.⁵⁷
Kuudo: Your choice. Kuudo connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, n8n, or any MCP client, so the model is the one your team already uses and can change. Kuudo does not put an assistant of its own between you and Amazon.⁶⁷

Limits and caveats

What limits and caveats do they publish on the AI?

Each column publishes a limit or a caveat, ours included. Amazon says its AI is experimental and can make mistakes, on a page that applies to selling in the United States. Helium 10 needs the Diamond plan and includes 1,000 calls a month. Jungle Scout caps AI Assist at 50 or 300 clicks a month by plan. ZonGuru's Helix supports the United States and United Kingdom and unlocks with one $49 credit. Nova's terms allow a call cap during the trial and say outputs may be inaccurate. Kuudo is in private beta.

Amazon Seller Assistant: The help page, marked as applying to selling in the United States, says "AI is experimental and can make mistakes" and recommends verifying answers through the source links. It says not to rely on the tool for professional, legal, or financial advice. The Seller Assistant user permission affects the depth of responses.¹
Helium 10: The MCP help article requires a Diamond plan or higher and includes 1,000 API calls monthly, shared between the main account and sub-users; a $50 top-up adds 500 calls per month. It covers 13 Amazon marketplaces and the US for Walmart and TikTok Shop. Ads access requires Managed mode, which carries a 2% fee on advertising spend.²⁰
Jungle Scout: The AI Assist in Listing Builder article says Growth Accelerator (formerly Suite) customers can click the AI Assist button up to 50 times monthly and Brand Owner (formerly Pro) subscribers up to 300. Users accept terms in a welcome message first, and the button is disabled when the keyword bank is empty.³³
ZonGuru: The post says Helix "currently supports the US and UK marketplaces, with more in development". The MCP connection unlocks once at least one credit sits on the account; a single credit is $49, with no subscription. Its stated caveat: "a thin brand record still produces thin verdicts". It publishes no call cap or beta label.⁴²
Nova: The terms say MCP use requires an active trial or subscription, the 14-day trial "may include usage limits, such as a maximum number of Nova MCP Connector calls", and any "unlimited" usage is subject to fair use and rate limits. Outputs "may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or wrongly interpreted", and account actions are beta features unless Nova states otherwise.⁵⁹
Kuudo: Kuudo is in private beta, and access starts with a request. Kuudo Community is free, with one instance of each Amazon MCP server in your own cloud and no usage charges. Paid plans are priced per Amazon API call. Amazon's own permissions, marketplaces and API limits still apply.⁶⁷

Amazon Ads

Can it run my Amazon Ads?

Amazon has its own answer here: Ads Agent, in the Amazon Ads console, builds campaign structures and adjusts pacing and budgets, and summarizes proposed changes before acting, for advertisers with Amazon Marketing Cloud and Amazon DSP access. Helium 10 automates bids by rules, ZonGuru reports ad spend, Nova reads ads and changes nothing today, and Jungle Scout keeps PPC management on Cobalt. Kuudo's Amazon Ads MCP carries 711 operations across Sponsored Products, Brands, Display and TV, DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud.

Amazon Seller Assistant: Amazon Ads documents Ads Agent, a conversational experience in the Amazon Ads console that builds campaign structures from a media plan and adjusts pacing, budgets and delivery rates across campaigns. It "summarizes all proposed changes before taking action". Advertisers with Amazon Marketing Cloud and Amazon DSP access are eligible; availability varies by locale.⁵
Helium 10: The Helium 10 Ads page lists bid rules, keyword harvesting, negative targeting, dayparting, budget rules and keyword rank rules that the seller defines and Helium 10 executes around the clock. It also describes AI Advertising that manages a campaign from a product, goals and a daily budget, plus expert rule templates.⁹
Jungle Scout: The pricing page's product comparison marks PPC management, bid optimization, dayparting, rules automation, DSP management and reporting, budget control and keyword harvesting as available in the enterprise Cobalt column and not in the column for companies selling less than $1M. It does not say whether bidding is rule-based or algorithmic.²⁶
ZonGuru: Business Dashboard reports Sponsored and Product ad spend with ACOS and ACOTS. No ZonGuru page describes a tool that creates or changes campaigns, bids or budgets; this page describes reporting only.⁴¹
Nova: The PPC page FAQ says Nova reads Amazon Ads data and changes nothing in the account today. It says managing bids and campaigns from an AI assistant is coming soon, and its comparison table lists automated bid changes as coming soon. It describes no bidding rules or algorithm.⁵²
Kuudo: Yes. 711 Amazon Ads operations across Sponsored Products, Brands, Display, and TV, plus DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud, through the Amazon Ads MCP.⁶⁰

Amazon Marketing Cloud

Can it query Amazon Marketing Cloud?

Amazon's Ads Agent generates Amazon Marketing Cloud SQL from conversation and creates audience segments, labelled beta. Helium 10 shows a templated Amazon Marketing Cloud dashboard in its ads tool. Jungle Scout, ZonGuru and Nova describe nothing on it. Kuudo runs queries and audiences through the Amazon Ads MCP, and the Turn AMC Questions Into Answers and Audiences Skill returns validated SQL and a segment ready to activate.

Amazon Seller Assistant: The Ads Agent page says the agent helps with Amazon Marketing Cloud workflows: it creates audience segments, generates SQL queries from natural conversation, and gives product support. The page labels Ads Agent in AMC as beta. The page does not mention Seller Assistant.⁵
Helium 10: Helium 10 Ads has an AMC page. The seller creates an Amazon Marketing Cloud instance from Ads settings, and the page shows templated views: an awareness-to-loyalty funnel, ad type overlap, new-to-brand by ASIN and ad type conversion. The article does not describe writing custom AMC queries.¹¹
Jungle Scout: No page mentions Amazon Marketing Cloud. The pricing comparison lists DSP management and reporting as a Cobalt feature, and a help center search for Marketing Cloud returns no article about it.²⁶
ZonGuru: No ZonGuru page describes Amazon Marketing Cloud access. The all-features page lists thirteen tools across product research, listing optimization, business metrics, monitoring and alerts, and customer engagement, and none queries Amazon Marketing Cloud.³⁸
Nova: No Nova page describes querying Amazon Marketing Cloud. The MCP server page lists its data sources as the Amazon SP-API, the Amazon Advertising API, Vendor Central (1P) and the customer's own cost and tag data, and its metric categories do not include Amazon Marketing Cloud.⁴⁵
Kuudo: Yes. Amazon Marketing Cloud queries and audiences run through the Amazon Ads MCP, and the Turn AMC Questions Into Answers and Audiences Skill returns validated SQL, privacy-safe results, and a segment ready to activate in DSP.⁶⁸

Vendor Central

Can it run Vendor Central work?

Vendors are mostly left out. No Amazon page read describes Seller Assistant working in Vendor Central, Helium 10 links seller accounts only, Jungle Scout keeps Vendor Central on Cobalt, and ZonGuru publishes nothing for vendors. Nova is the exception and says Vendor Central support is live. Kuudo's Amazon Vendor Central MCP carries 40 operations for purchase orders, direct fulfillment, shipments, invoices and Retail Analytics.

Amazon Seller Assistant: No Amazon page read describes Seller Assistant working in Vendor Central. The help page addresses sellers and describes the assistant as working in Seller Central; it does not mention Vendor Central or vendors.¹
Helium 10: The Helium 10 Ads FAQ says vendor accounts can appear to be linked to a Helium 10 account, but Helium 10 only supports seller accounts. No Helium 10 page describes a Vendor Central tool.¹⁰
Jungle Scout: The help center states Catalyst integrates with Amazon Seller Central accounts only and does not support Vendor Central. Cobalt, the enterprise product, supports both Seller Central and Vendor Central accounts.²⁷
ZonGuru: No ZonGuru page describes Vendor Central work. The pricing page offers Researcher, Seller and Enterprise plans, the Seller plan connects Seller Central, and Seller pricing scales on the number of active SKUs in the past 90 days.³⁴
Nova: The Vendor Central page says 1P support is live and out of beta, with multiple Seller Central and Vendor Central connections in one workspace, account switching and consolidated reporting. Vendor Central data is described as going live on the assistant connection. Connections are set up together with the Nova team.⁵³
Kuudo: Yes. 40 Vendor Central operations: purchase orders, direct fulfillment, shipments and invoices, and Retail Analytics, through the Amazon Vendor Central MCP.⁶⁶

Creative

Can it generate listing and ad creative, images and video?

Amazon is strong here. Its Creative Studio tool, in beta, produces video and display ads with scripts, images, animation, voiceovers and music at no additional cost, and its listing tools generate A+ Content text and images. Helium 10 generates AI images, per a help article, Jungle Scout writes listing text only, ZonGuru recommends changes to an image carousel, and Nova offers a title rewriter. Kuudo's Agent Iris generates listing images and product video, audits an image against listing rules, and publishes to the listing.

Amazon Seller Assistant: Amazon Ads' September 17, 2025 news page says an agentic AI tool in Creative Studio, in beta, produces video and display ads for Amazon DSP, Sponsored Display, Sponsored Brands and Brand Stores, including scripts, images, animation, voiceovers and music, "at no additional cost". It uses Amazon Nova and Anthropic Claude on Amazon Bedrock.⁷
Helium 10: The help center says Listing Builder's AI image generator creates main images, Amazon Post images, A+ content images, mobile-optimized images and seasonal images from a prompt and style settings. The seller downloads the image and uploads it to the Amazon listing. No Helium 10 page describes video generation.¹²
Jungle Scout: AI Assist in Listing Builder uses OpenAI's model and the top keywords from the keyword bank to generate the product title, all five features and the description, which the user can discard or replace. The article does not mention generating images, video or ad creative.²⁵
ZonGuru: Helix evaluates the image carousel and gives specific recommendations for what images to have and their sequence, alongside the rewritten title, bullets and description. The page does not describe Helix generating images or video.³⁵
Nova: No Nova page describes generating listing or ad images or video. Nova publishes a free title optimizer that takes an ASIN and returns a rewritten product title checked against Amazon's 75-character title rule. That page describes text rewrites only.⁵⁴
Kuudo: Yes. Agent Iris generates listing images and product video through Google Gemini, OpenAI image models, and Google Veo 3, audits an image against listing rules, publishes to the listing, and confirms Amazon took it. Video comes back as a signed URL rather than an upload to Seller Central.⁶⁴

Playbooks

Does it come with playbooks, and can I write my own?

This is the row where the columns differ most. No Amazon page read describes instructions or workflows for Seller Assistant that a seller can read or write. Helium 10 offers four free skill files for Claude, ZonGuru publishes prompt templates it calls controllers, Nova publishes a prompt library, and Jungle Scout publishes nothing. Kuudo's 12 verified Skills each state the job, the inputs, the outputs and what the Skill is not for, and you write your own in the same format.

Amazon Seller Assistant: No Amazon page read describes instructions, playbooks or workflows for Seller Assistant that a seller can read or write. The help page describes asking questions, suggested questions, and thumbs up or thumbs down feedback on responses.¹
Helium 10: Helium 10 publishes four free skill files for Claude: Keyword Opportunity Finder, Listing Analyzer, Brand Analytics Keywords and Search Query Performance. The user uploads a file to Claude, and live data needs a Helium 10 connection on Diamond or higher. The page does not say whether the files can be edited.¹³
Jungle Scout: No Catalyst page mentions playbooks, workflows or user-written rules. The plan comparison lists Review Automation with Exclusions and Delayed Send as the automation settings, and nothing the seller can author or edit as a workflow.²³
ZonGuru: ZonGuru's MCP post describes controllers: reusable prompt templates, one per job, that the customer pastes into a chat or stores in a Claude or ChatGPT project's instructions. The post names six jobs to run on connecting. It does not describe an editable workflow library inside ZonGuru.³⁹
Nova: Nova publishes a library of 35 prompts in 7 groups, written for Claude and described as working the same in ChatGPT, Gemini and other MCP-capable clients. Users copy a prompt into their own assistant. The page describes no workflow format that users author or store inside Nova.⁴⁶
Kuudo: 12 verified Skills for Amazon Ads and seller work, each publishing what it is not for, and you can write your own in the same format.⁶⁸

Does it bring Amazon know-how to the job?

Amazon's assistant answers from Seller Central resources with source links, and its page says it is aware of recent changes on Seller News and the help pages. The vendors teach people: Helium 10 through training and academies, Jungle Scout through an in-app Academy, ZonGuru through a weekly live academy, and Nova through guides and news briefings. Agent Atlas supplies curated Amazon operating playbooks and rules that your agent retrieves before it acts.

Amazon Seller Assistant: The help page says sellers receive "relevant, summarized information learned from Seller Central resources" with source links in the answers. It says Seller Assistant "is aware of recent changes on the Seller News and Seller Central help pages" for time-sensitive policy questions.¹
Helium 10: The pricing page lists Amazon FBA training, an Amazon Ads academy and a TikTok Shop academy under Platinum. Diamond adds monthly workshops and Q&A sessions, expert webinars and Helium, an AI agent described as keyword, listing, ads and operations intelligence in one conversation.⁸
Jungle Scout: The Jungle Scout Training Academy is an in-app resource for active subscribers. It holds tutorials for each feature, an A-Z course on how to sell on Amazon, advanced training videos from Jungle Scout's experts, interviews with industry experts, and webinar replays.²⁸
ZonGuru: The pricing page says members unlock weekly live academy sessions and recordings, case studies and product research materials, and that 24/7 chat support is staffed by actual Amazon sellers. Enterprise adds agency training and certification.³⁴
Nova: The resources page lists a blog of 130+ guides on FBA, analytics, PPC, fees and data, 150+ news briefings on Amazon policy, ads and platform updates, directories of agencies, seller tools and influencers, and Amazon seller and ecommerce statistics. It describes no academy, course or in-app AI assistant.⁴⁷

Your data

Where does your account data end up?

Read what each says about your data. Amazon's page says your confidential account data is used only to answer your specific account questions. Jungle Scout's terms grant it a perpetual analytics license on customer data, Helium 10's allow aggregated, anonymous use, ZonGuru's allow de-identified aggregate use, and Nova's say it does not make a figure derived from Amazon data available to third parties. Agent Flow lands your Ads and Selling Partner data in a data lake in your own cloud.

Amazon Seller Assistant: The help page footnote says "Your confidential account data is only used to answer your specific account questions." It adds that Amazon collects and uses personal information in accordance with its Privacy Notice. The page describes no export, API or warehouse sync of Seller Assistant output.¹
Helium 10: The terms say Helium 10 may use and disclose customer data in aggregated, anonymous form for statistical analysis, service improvement and benchmarking, without identifying the client. They add that data queried through an AI client leaves Helium 10's control. No Helium 10 page describes a warehouse sync.¹⁴
Jungle Scout: The Terms of Use say the customer owns all rights in Customer Data. The customer grants Jungle Scout a license to use it as necessary to provide the Services, and a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use the Customer Data for analytics purposes.²⁹
ZonGuru: The terms say ZonGuru does not sell Customer Data and may aggregate de-identified, non-attributable statistical information from use of the Services to improve them and for industry benchmarking. Third-party AI providers are contractually prohibited from training on customer data.⁴⁰
Nova: The terms let the customer export data through file exports, data sharing or the MCP connector. Nova may produce statistics from Customer Data for internal purposes, does not make a figure derived from Amazon data available to third parties, whether for one customer or aggregated, without Amazon's written permission or the customer's request, and does not sell Customer Data.⁴⁸
Kuudo: Agent Flow lands your Ads and Selling Partner data in a data lake in your own cloud; your warehouse and BI tools read it downstream.⁶³

Where you use it

Which apps can I use it from?

Seller Assistant is used in Seller Central. Amazon does connect outside AI clients, through a different product: its Ads MCP Server, in open beta for Amazon Ads partners with API credentials, names Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, and that page does not mention Seller Assistant. Helium 10, Jungle Scout, ZonGuru and Nova name AI clients that reach their own products. Kuudo connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, n8n or any MCP client to Amazon.

Amazon Seller Assistant: Amazon Ads' February 2, 2026 news page says the Amazon Ads MCP Server, in open beta, lets advertisers and partners "connect custom-built agents or AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini" to Amazon Ads API functionality. It is offered to Amazon Ads partners with active API credentials. The page does not mention Seller Assistant.⁶
Helium 10: The mobile app FAQ says the app runs on Android and iOS and includes Profits, Helium 10 Ads, Alerts, and blogs and podcasts. Account connections and chart downloads are done in the web app. Sub-user accounts can use the mobile app.¹⁵
Jungle Scout: The plans page describes Catalyst as web-based software and the browser extension as available for Chrome and Firefox, pulling product data from Amazon search result pages. Both are included with Starter, Growth Accelerator and Brand Owner. The page mentions no mobile app or AI client.²³

Where does it run?

Each of the five is a hosted service, and none publishes an option to run it in your own cloud. Seller Assistant is available on desktop and mobile. ZonGuru says its servers are in the United States, and Nova names servers in France. Kuudo runs in your own AWS, GCP, Azure or Cloudflare account, so the deployment, the data and the perimeter are yours.

Amazon Seller Assistant: The support resolution help page says Seller Assistant "is available on desktop and mobile, and it doesn't require any special browser requirements or technical setup", and is available all day, every day. No Amazon page read describes a self-hosted or seller-run option.²
Helium 10: The MCP page describes connecting a Helium 10 account to Claude, ChatGPT or a custom agent as one connection the customer does not have to maintain. No Helium 10 page describes a self-hosted option or running in the customer's own cloud account.¹⁷
Jungle Scout: Catalyst is described as web-based software accessed through a Jungle Scout account, with the extension running in the browser. No page mentions a self-hosted or customer-cloud option.²³
ZonGuru: ZonGuru states its web and database servers are located in the US and all data is stored there. The article does not describe a self-hosted or customer-cloud option.³⁷
Nova: The data processing agreement says the Services are hosted in France by Scaleway in the Paris region, with the application database encrypted at rest and the analytics warehouse on dedicated servers in France. It describes no self-hosted or customer-cloud deployment.⁴⁹

Approval

What happens before anything changes on Amazon?

Amazon's page says Seller Assistant acts with your permission and when you authorize it, and does not say whether that is a setting you can change. Helium 10's MCP ad changes wait for you to approve the batch by default, and its help article warns that changed approval settings in Claude or ChatGPT may skip the prompt, Jungle Scout's listing sync waits for a click, ZonGuru evaluates and then confirms, and Nova's MCP reads by default. Kuudo's read tools return data only, and write tools are guarded and may require your explicit approval before a change reaches Amazon.

Amazon Seller Assistant: The help page says Seller Assistant takes actions "With your permission" and "when you authorize it to do so". The page does not list which actions run automatically, and does not say whether authorization is a setting the seller can change.¹
Helium 10: The help center says ad changes made through the MCP show the retailer, the account and every proposed action, and run only after the user approves the batch. Campaigns, ad groups and keywords can be paused but not deleted. It warns that changing default approval settings in Claude or ChatGPT may skip the prompt.¹⁸
Jungle Scout: A Listing Builder change is sent to Amazon only when the user clicks Sync to Amazon and then Continue. The update is placed in Amazon's queue and shows as Queued To Amazon, Synced To Amazon or Try Syncing Again. The article describes no approval step beyond that click.²⁴
ZonGuru: Through the MCP, edits to Helix records run in two steps, evaluate then confirm, and ZonGuru states nothing publishes to live Amazon listings without the seller. Claude's permission screen separates the 17 read-only tools from the 25 write tools, so writes can be gated.³⁹
Nova: The AI agents page says the Nova MCP reads by default. Listing edits require a workspace owner to turn them on, and each edit is previewed and confirmed before it reaches Amazon. The page says prices and stock levels are not changed.⁵⁰

How is it priced?

Amazon's is free to use. Published monthly prices run from $49 to $149 at Jungle Scout and $49 to $249 at ZonGuru by active SKUs, and $129 or $359 at Helium 10, where the AI comes with Diamond. Nova bills per connected Amazon account in eight tiers from $49 to $449 monthly. Kuudo Pro is $0 a month plus $0.95 per 1,000 Amazon API calls, priced by Amazon API call, and Kuudo Community is free.

Amazon Seller Assistant: The help page FAQ asks "Is the Seller Assistant free or is there a fee to use it?" and answers "It's free to use." The page publishes no usage cap, tier or added fee for Seller Assistant, and quotes no selling plan price.¹
Helium 10: Platinum is $129 a month or $99 a month billed yearly; Diamond is $359 or $279. Enterprise starts at $1,499 a month billed annually. Usage limits scale by plan, Diamond adds a 2% fee on managed ad spend, and add-ons include extra MCP calls from $50 a month.⁸
Jungle Scout: With Pay monthly selected, Catalyst Starter is $49, Growth Accelerator $79 and Brand Owner + CI $149 a month. With Pay annually selected they are $348, $588 and $1,548 billed annually. Additional seats are $49 a month each and additional segments $99 a month per 5.²³

Nova: The terms' pricing schedule, applicable from 17 September 2026, bills monthly per connected Amazon account in eight tiers from $49 to $449 monthly. The tier follows the higher of average monthly order items or average monthly sales divided by 50. Accounts ranked 6 and above get 20% to 50% volume discounts.⁴⁸
Kuudo: Kuudo Pro: $0 a month plus $0.95 per 1,000 Amazon API calls. Kuudo Scale: $249 a month plus $0.55 per 1,000 Amazon API calls. No percentage of ad spend, and the calculator models a month for a brand owner, an agency or aggregator, and an automation-heavy seller.⁶²

Seats and organizations

How many people and accounts?

Amazon gates Seller Assistant with a user permission that the account administrator grants, and publishes no user count. Helium 10 runs from one to five users and two to ten Amazon accounts, Jungle Scout includes one seat below its top plan, ZonGuru sells extra users as an add-on, and Nova states no seat count below its Enterprise plan. Kuudo Pro allows up to 25 seats across 5 organizations, and Kuudo Scale up to 50 across 10.

Amazon Seller Assistant: The help page says only the account administrator can grant the permission named Seller Assistant, by enabling Edit access under User permissions; administrators can self-assign it. It warns that secondary users with access can view account data and make account-level or ASIN-level changes. No user count is published.¹
Helium 10: The pricing page lists multi-user login of 1 on Platinum and 5 on Diamond, and 2 connected Amazon Seller Central accounts on Platinum and 10 on Diamond. Enterprise lists 10+ users and 15+ seller accounts. Additional users can be bought as an add-on.⁸
Jungle Scout: The plan comparison table lists 1 included seat on Starter, 1 on Growth Accelerator and 3 on Brand Owner, while the FAQ on the same page says Brand Owner includes 10 users. Extra seats cost $49 a month or $459 a year. The page sets no limit on connected Amazon accounts.²³
ZonGuru: The Seller plan includes a Seller Central connection to one marketplace, with more through a Connected Regions add-on. Inviting other users requires an Assistant Accounts add-on, with per-tool access. Enterprise lists a sub-account view for each brand and an internal admin dashboard.³⁴
Nova: The pricing page lists unlimited accounts and unlimited team seats on the custom-priced Enterprise & Agency plan. For the Sellers & Brand Owners plan it says additional Seller Central accounts start at $49 monthly each, and it states no number of team seats.⁵¹

Can I try it free?

Amazon's assistant is free, so there is nothing to trial. Nova gives 14 days with no payment method, ZonGuru a 7-day trial, and Helium 10 and Jungle Scout a 7-day money-back window and no trial. Kuudo Community is free: one instance of each Amazon MCP server in your own cloud, with no usage charges.

Amazon Seller Assistant: Amazon's Nov 3, 2025 blog tells readers to sign up for a Professional selling plan to use the AI listing tools, and its footnote gives that plan as $39.99 monthly plus selling fees. The page describes no free trial or refund terms for the AI tools.³
Helium 10: The help center says first-time subscribers get a full refund of the first payment when they request cancellation within 7 calendar days. Renewals and later payments are not refundable, and partial periods are not pro-rated. Access continues until the end of the paid period after cancelling.¹⁶
Jungle Scout: The plans page says Jungle Scout does not offer a free trial. New customers on regularly priced Catalyst plans can get their money back within 7 days, requested by email, with special promotions excluded. Subscriptions can be cancelled with no obligation beyond the current billing cycle.²³
ZonGuru: ZonGuru offers a 7-day free trial; cancelling inside it avoids a charge. New sign-ups get a full refund if requested within 7 days of the first transaction and a prorated refund up to 30 days. Renewals are not refunded.³⁶

What is the best AI for Amazon sellers: Amazon Seller Assistant, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, ZonGuru, or Nova?

It depends on where you want the AI to live. Amazon's Seller Assistant is free and built into Seller Central, reads your account data, and can act with your permission. Helium Agent sits inside the Helium 10 dashboard and answers from your Helium 10 data. Jungle Scout, ZonGuru and Nova connect your own AI client to their products through an MCP. Kuudo connects the AI you already use to Amazon's own operations, across ads, seller and vendor work.

What AI tools does Amazon give sellers?

Several, in different consoles. Seller Assistant, in Seller Central, answers account questions and, in Amazon's words, can take actions on your behalf with your permission. Generative listing tools draft titles, bullets, descriptions and A+ Content that you review, edit and approve. In the Amazon Ads console, Ads Agent builds campaigns and generates Amazon Marketing Cloud SQL, labelled beta, and a Creative Studio tool in beta produces video and display ads at no additional cost.

Can I use ChatGPT or Claude for my Amazon business?

Yes, and the question is what it can reach. Used by hand, it works from what you paste or upload. Connected through an MCP, it reaches whatever that MCP points at. Helium 10's, Jungle Scout's, ZonGuru's and Nova's each point at the vendor's own product. Amazon's Ads MCP Server, in open beta for Amazon Ads partners with API credentials, names Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. Can AI take actions on my Amazon account, and who approves them?

Some can, and the approval step differs. Amazon says Seller Assistant acts with your permission, and its page does not say which actions run on their own. Helium 10's MCP changes ads after you approve each batch by default, and its help article warns that changed approval settings in Claude or ChatGPT may skip the prompt. ZonGuru's writes change records in its Helix product in two steps, not live listings, and Nova's tool reference says campaigns, prices and listings stay as set. With Kuudo, write tools are guarded by your workspace policy, may require approval, and every call is recorded with its approval state.

Which AI writes Amazon listings, and does it publish them?

Each tool on this page writes listing text of some kind. Amazon's generative tools draft listings and A+ Content that you approve before submitting. Amazon's Seller Assistant is free to use. Published monthly prices run from $49 to $149 at Jungle Scout and $49 to $249 at ZonGuru, and Helium 10 is $129 or $359, with its AI included on Diamond. Nova bills per connected Amazon account, from $49 to $449 monthly. Some cap usage: Helium 10 includes 1,000 MCP calls a month, and Jungle Scout allows 50 or 300 AI clicks by plan.
